He complains about the lacking of IICSA relentlessly, and the more he complains the more I wonder who in fact, was lacking

You have to wonder about his true motivations here. Though he could have easily found other parties to join with him, he chose to go alone and sued to do just that. He wanted the prominence and glory of going at WT at such a high level under his own name and and not as part of a group.

As he has shown with his current lawsuit, he’s quick to outline decisions he strongly feels should be arrived at and hold them accountable when they fall short of his expectations. He did the same thing to DV charities when he asked them loaded questions on Twitter and then started his daily tweets of countdowns of days gone by without a response.

Like an earlier post elaborated upon, he seems to view all his actions as “currency” that he attaches a monetary value upon. Failing getting paid as a CP, the very least IICSA could have done for him was deliver on all of his demands so he could have done a huge victory lap of videos and livestreams which would have increased his patronage.

It’s worth noting that he has worked with many CSA victims and instead of being motivated by bringing them justice, he monetises the entire thing and wants to be compensated in some way. It’s all about his time and not the actual victims themselves who showed up to give testimony they’d rather not repeat in public, and take time away from their jobs and lives just to do what they felt was the right thing.

Umm, it’s a non-profit statutory inquiry for England and Wales, and he thinks he needs to be paid for presenting evidence? Does he know how these things work or did he not think that far ahead and only wants all of his recommendations to be implemented and also to be compensated?

It’s right there in plain English. This is a business for Lloyd Evans and he expects to be paid for every effort he makes. You donate to him, you are funding a business in Croatia called Ipsilon Media, which listed assets totaling $160,000 USD last year.

Notice any pattern? The only thing he ever blames himself for is cheating on his wife, but this is only after humiliating her and saying she was sexually incompatible with him. He has and will not take any responsibility for the mess he finds himself in.

People who can change do not promise to chase others round the world for the rest of both theirs and his adult life with bs legal cases. Put yourself in Kim's shoes. You are named in a "criminal" court case, he's always gloating about how he's going to get his revenge on you in the courts and in the court of public opinion, and now he's promising to go all the way into the year 2062 to exact vengeance upon you.

Let's ask Kim, she knew him personally and professionally - Do you think Lloyd can change?

Any change he is capable of would first need to be a complete repudiation of his legal threats and lawsuits. He filed last on 14 November 2022. Not looking good.

It's been almost a year now. He's not changing.

To be fair, the tweet you posted was from September 2022. Kim was speaking about last year's (2021) convention when she still worked for him and had firsthand knowledge. She wouldn't be able to tell you who transcribed this year's convention.

LLoyd sees himself as having sufficient celebrity status that all of his actions are currency.

That's precisely what he sees of himself. When he was here, it was all about "my time" and how him graciously posting on this forum was keeping him up late and negatively affecting the time he got to spend with his wife.

Take this thread for example:

For context, this was the one where he claimed he spent $400 on a surveymonkey subscription and then came back with his PayPal info for people to reimburse him. He really did think he was doing a "service" to this forum and exJWs in general by spending his time posting here because he was so intelligent:

She said she was glad I had joined the forum because I brought "intelligence" to it, a quality that was lacking. Later in the same thread he stated this forum wasn't worth his time and he would be limiting his time here. A promise he would break repeatedly as he was a fairly active poster for a couple years after that.

Every "AposDate with Lloyd Evans" was subtly marketed with the underlying theme that Lloyd was a busy man, but since people were so interested in him and his family, he was graciously extending the opportunity for people to meet him and become encouraged in life. Everyone who had a channel to promote or was trying to get into exJW activism he was doing a big favour for them by tweeting something or having them on his channel.

As Kim related, a common refrain from him was that he was so "busy". He's an extremely self-important man and a legend in his own mind. He stated the events of this year were by far the most hurtful for him, even more so than the death of his mother.

I believe he's telling the truth. It was soul crushing for him to be rejected by so many and have most of his supporters not only desert him, but openly call him out for criticism and ridicule. He had it all. He was the Godfather of exJW activism, and he could stop anything he didn't want happening and confine it to the fringes by a simple tweet. You couldn't avoid him.

He has lost all of that and the truth that he caused all of this himself by an embarrassing sex scandal is too great of a burden for him to bear. In the 5 stages of grief, he's somewhere in between denial and anger. He's denying that he's finished and will soon bounce back, and he's manifesting his anger by making threats and following through with a doomed lawsuit. He won't go through any of the other stages of grief because his ego is too huge to do so.

He eventually let his mum go and moved into the "Acceptance" stage. He won't ever let any of this go, he won't accept any of his new reality, and that's why it's substantially worse for him.

Hmmm sounds like the literature arrangement made many years ago when a certain religious organisation was put on notice they would be taxed if they sold literature. My dad was a "ghost-donator", going to the box and folding the low denomination bills so they couldn't be identified.

What I see is a "Band-Aid" style fix for a much bigger problem. You mean to tell me Live-Aid did not solve poverty and famine in Africa!?! Bob Geldof actually got Phil Collins to fly on the Concorde from London to Philadelphia so he could play with the reformed Led Zeppelin after his set in London ended. He didn't know the parts and was ill-suited to fill-in for a drummer like John Bonham.

Lloyd is a poor man's Geldof, a total cunt with these grand ideas that failed to address the root problem. He'd meet all these Third World leaders and then spend the night in the local Hilton. Lloyd still can't bring himself to apologise, and it's too late for that anyway. So, he's adding these silly perks like a GB member emoji as if we're all kids who need our toys. He doesn't want to re-tool his content and vision, so you're going to see a lot more of these dimestore gimmicks as his Patrons drip away.

Absolutely. When he left this forum he was a very polarising figure somewhat like he is today. Kind of a whiny little bitch who made quality videos. His wife was a huge mystery and it was clear she didn’t want to go public as he did.

Then their first child was born and his family man myth was born. There was a virtual baby shower and they had a tonne of gifts, both baby supplies and money sent to them from all over the world. He quickly picked up on this and started bringing his wife and child along with him for no real reason other than it made people more interested in him and his work. He also was quick to use them as a shield when things like the COC copyright scandal came to light. “You have no idea how much this is upsetting my wife! I may have to quit activism if this abuse doesn’t stop!”

Like the true dumbfuck that he is, he set his biggest asset on fire, borne out of a puerile middle aged tantrum based on the fact that his only sexual experiences outside of his wife involved an exchange of money. The “Dijana In Her Own Words” and the handful of other videos she appeared in all had impressive stats. He shit all over that and was counting on his wife to do what she had always done and STFU.

Look at what remains. A man in his 40s with no job prospects outside his Patreon business model with an estranged wife he publicly humiliated and two girls who live without their father because of his actions. He’s become a pitiful figure and it’s now a charitable act on your part to publicly meet with him and allow him to post selfies.

Are his current patreons notified of the increase in monthly pledges and are they given the opportunity to opt out prior to being charged for the next instalment

Unless I am reading this wrong the tiers are mostly the same, $1, $5, $10, $25 a month, with the new $50 a month one added. He just changed the names. I would imagine if you were pledging $1 before, it would just transfer into the new $1 tier.

If Patreon defaults you into a new tier that costs more, that’s an unsavory business practice to say the least.

I think the big news here is he’s creating a top $50 tier and trying to entice current Patrons to subscribe to that. He’s largely thrown in the towel on getting any significant Patrons back and is trying to maneuver his current supporters into paying more.

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least that another filing in his lawsuit will occur soon. They tend to immediately follow news like this. This is also the time of year he goes on holiday and with this last Patron drop he’s panicking about his business model.

Enjoy the winter in Zagreb, Lloyd. Keep up on inviting Instagram models out for coffee. An overweight 43 year old man with a Muppet nose who’s also still married with two kids to support on a shrinking salary has to stand a chance, right?
